Bramwell Tovey has announced the programme which The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain will perform in their concert at the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival which takes place at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on Saturday 13th September.
Bramwell Tovey, who is flying into the UK from Canada especially to conduct the NYBBGB, has selected two Malcolm Arnold works, Padstow Lifeboat and Fantasy for Brass Band, and there will be the Manchester premiere of Metropolis 1927 in the presence of composer Peter Graham.
The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain programme is as follows:-
