Fairey announce Bridgewater programme 

The Fairey Band, conductor Philip Chalk will perform the 4.15pm afternoon concert next Saturday
at the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival at The Brigewater Hall, Manchester. The Guest Soloist
will be Matthew White, Principal Euphonium with the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain
and euphonium with Leyland Band. Matthew won the Harry Mortimer Solo Award, adjudicated by
Bramwell Tovey earlier this year with the NYBBGB and as a result of winning this prestigious
competition also wins the Eric Iles Award from The Worshipful Company of Musicians of the City
of London.
