Charley Brighton recital

BBC Winds Euphonium soloist (and Willson performing artist) Charley Brighton will give his 28th. Recital (since 2001) on Saturday November 3rd. at St. Mary’s Parish Church, with Malcolm Stowell at the piano & organ

 

The recital will feature 3 premieres, an exciting new solo titled Cloud Nine by Darrol Barry (Oman),  Aragonaise, by Joe Miserendino (USA) and the first performance of a new duet version of Fly Me To The Moon, arranged by Terry Treherne with guest, Alan Mann on Tenor Horn

The concert will also feature Malcolm Stowell at the organ as they combine in long lost work originally for trombone and organ by Gustav Holst, Concertante, dating back to 1894.

 

Vintage Euphoniums & Tubas will be on display and the recital starts at 12 noon, admission is free, and refreshments are served afterwards.
