Despite the inclement weather the
Easingwold March & Deportment Contest on Sat 30th June was once again a
success. The afternoon provided the organisers with a quandary?
"Shall we go ahead with a shortened
march?", "Shall we abandon the march and just go ahead with the stage
contest?", "Or shall we carry on as normal?"
In the end the weather relented and the full contest was run with
sixteen bands entered.
