The National Youth Brass band of Scotland (NYBBS)
are set to host a fundraising ceilidh for its prospective tour of Japan
in 2008.
The hootenanny jamboree of traditional
Scottish Dancing will be held in Shettleston Town Hall on the outskirts
of Glasgow from 7pm to until 11:30pm on Friday, June 15.
Tickets for this event are priced at £7
each.
All current NYBBS members, ex-members and
anyone who wants to help the NYBBS on its way to Japan are welcome.
Prior to ceilidh, on the morning of the
June 15, NYBBS will perform in front of newly elected First Minister of
Scotland, Alex Salmond, at the prestigious Scottish Education Awards in
Glasgow.
So come along and round off a great day for
the band and help fundraise a once in a lifetime trip.
