Paperless NABBA

The North American Brass Band Association (NABBA) has released issue 99 of their publication, "The Brass Band Bridge." New editor Douglas Yeo, Music Director of the New England Brass Band (and bass

trombonist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra), has transformed "The Bridge" from a print publication to an interactive PDF, a change that will be much more flexible in delivering news and information about brass banding in North America. "In today's world, an electronic publication allows NABBA to reach out with our message more effectively, " said Yeo. "The interactive PDF format with active web links, full color advertisements and images, and a user-controlled web-based slide show of over 50 photos brings "The Bridge" to our members in a new, exciting and dynamic way."

 

"The Bridge" will be now published at least five times a year and will contain news, reviews, band programs, announcements and articles related to brass banding in North America. "The Bridge" is available for download on the NABBA website at http://www.nabba.org . Issue 99 of "The Bridge" (released on May 11) is 19 pages long and includes a comprehensive review of the NABBA XXIV Championship in Louisville, Kentucky.
