Masters Line-up announced

Philip Biggs and Richard Franklin are delighted to announce the line-up for the 2006 All
England Masters International Brass Band Championship which takes place at the Corn
Exchange, Cambridge on Sunday 28th May.

 

Building on the success of the 2005 event there are four bands from outside the UK taking part,
twelve from England, two from Scotland, two from Wales and one from Northern Ireland. The
2006 winners will receive £5,000, the total prize fund is £9,000.

 

The test-piece, selected by the organisers is Paganini Variations by Philip Wilby. The line-up of
bands is as follows:-
