Griffiths joins Grimethorpe |

Grimethorpe Colliery (UK Coal) Band are delighted to welcome to their ranks, Bass Trombone player, Geraint Griffiths.
Geraint joins Grimethorpe from the YBS Band having previously played with Fairey FP Music Band.
Geraint commented, “I have been waiting for a vacancy to avail itself at Grimethorpe for some time now, I have had the privilege of deputising on numerous occasions and feel I fitted in really well, Grimethorpe have always been one of my favourite bands. Now, at last, I can’t believe I’m actually here, I’m really looking forward to working in the same section as Richard Brown and Simon Kingsley, plus it will be great to team up with Allan Withington again after having two amazing years with him at Faireys.”
Geraint replaces Mark Frost who has moved on to further his professional career. Grimethorpe would like to send their best wishes and thanks to Mark. |
