The
UK’s biggest music-making and education exhibition, Music Live 2005
returns to Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre between 4-6 November.
And this year’s event
holds a treat for brass fans and players in the form of both a live
concert and masterclass sessions with Canadian Brass. The
legendary ensemble will be appearing at Music Live on Sunday 6 November
at 12 midday.
Presented by Yamaha –
one of the major exhibitors at Music Live – the quintet’s appearance at
the show precedes a series of concert dates and educational sessions
around the UK. These include masterclasses at the Royal College of Music
and performances at Cardiff Cathedral and the Royal Scottish Academy of
Music and Drama in Glasgow.
Aside from the presence
of Canadian Brass, Yamaha’s involvement at Music Live will include
exhibition displays of current brass and woodwind instrument ranges and
the co-sponsorship of the ‘Jazz and Blues Bar’, where visitors can relax
during the show.
Tickets for Music Live
2005 are priced at £12 in advance (under 12s £6.50) and are available
