Euphonium tribute

Willson Euphonium artist Charley Brighton, of the B.B.C. Winds, London, has recorded a special tribute in memory of American composer Pete Tangemann, who died last year. Composer Joe Miserendino from Pensylvannia requested Charley perform the unaccompanied tribute he had written ‘Mein Lieber Freund’ which now appears on the AcidPlanet classical playlist;

Charley also gives his 19th. Solo Recital at St. Mary’s in Slough, Berkshire, U.K. on Saturday 6th. August. The programme is as follows;

Having recently performed as soloist with the Nonesuch String Orchestra in the Proms at St. Judes, Hampstead, North London, Charley will perform the complete Euphonium Concerto by Josef Horovitz with The Hounslow Symphony Orchestra in July of next year.
