Brasstastic

On Thursday 18th August 2005, young brass and percussion players will be given the opportunity to come together to make music under the direction of SONAR Brass.

 

Taking place at the Bacon Theatre, Cheltenham, the day will include workshops and master-classes with world class tutors and players Alan Morrison [Cornet], Richard Marshall [Cornet], Owen Farr [Tenor Horn], Nick Hudson [Trombone] and Shaun Crowther [Tuba].

 

The day will culminate in a professional concert including the pieces that the band(s) have rehearsed during the day, as well as performances by SONAR Brass.

 

The one day course is open to any brass or percussion player aged 18 or under. Application forms, along with more information about the course, can be found at www.geocities.com/brasstastic2005. Tickets for the concert are available from the Bacon Theatre Box Office on 01242 258002 at only £5 each.
