Ramsay for Scottish Co-op

The Scottish Co-op Band is excited to announce Alan Ramsay as their new Resident Professional Conductor.

 

Members of the band have been impressed with Alan's conducting talents for some considerable time and he will be welcomed back to the band which he led to National Championship victory in 1990 as Principal Cornet.'

 

Band Manager Paul Kiernan states:

 

"With a vacancy to fill, we had absolutely no hesitation in going out to attract the best conducting talent north of the border.

 

Alan has shown himself to have the drive, determination and ability to get the best out of every band he works with.

 

It seems that now is the right time for the Band and Alan to work together again and we will be aiming for the highest possible standards in all of our musical ventures.

 

We look forward to starting work with Alan following our summer recess."
