Eddie takes control of Masters

The All England Masters International Brass Band Championship will be controlled this year by Dr. Eddie Jankowski. Robert Howard, who has been the Contest Controller since the ‘Masters was inaugurated in 1989, is having to take a year off on medical advice and is expected back at the contest control helm in 2006.

Eddie, who has worked alongside Robert since the first contest in 1989, is well experienced in all matters concerning the Cambridge Contest and ideally placed to be the Contest Controller on this occasion.

Richard Franklin commented: “Philip Biggs and myself are delighted to appoint Eddie as Contest Controller for this year’s contest. We are certain that he will run the day smoothly and efficiently.”
