Double Success for Besson Cornet

At the Music Industries Association Awards on Wednesday 6 October, there was huge success for the Besson BE1020 cornet.  Not only was it the winner of the ‘Best Brass Instrument’ award, it also received the accolade of ‘Product of the Year’ within the classical instrument section. 

The BE1020 cornet forms part of the highly successful Besson 1000 Series range of brass instruments made by skilled craftsmen at Besson’s superb modern manufacturing facility in Gulauthi, India and this award follows the 2003 prize for ‘Best Brass Instrument’ awarded to the BE1010 trumpet.  It was also gratifying that Mr Aftab Ahmad, Managing Director of the Indian factory was there to receive the award.

These awards are particularly important to Besson as they are voted for by UK retailers and the success of the BE1020 cornet endorses the confidence our dealers have in this product and the entire Besson 1000 Series range.
