The band are absolutely delighted and they look forward to their next competition which is the Pontins Brass band Championships in October.

The band also performed in a "Brass plays the Proms" concert together with St. Laurence School choir and soloists at St Laurence Church in Long Eaton in order to raise money for the Duchess Theatre which was burnt down late last year. The evening was a resounding success and the concert raised over £1,000 for the "Phoenix Fund"
