The band have also appointed Simon Kerwin as its Composer in Residence and a number of unique compositions and arrangements have already been gratefully received by the band, and will filter into the concert repertoire.

The band are also pleased to announce that Andrew Duncan has accepted the position as Professional Conductor and will appear with the band at the forthcoming All England Masters at the end of this month.

Commenting on these appointments, band Chairman, John Richardson said “I am pleased that the band is maintaining a high profile and moving forwards. The new appointments will improve the band musically and help to advance the high standards already attained."
