Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band have now released their programme for the Opening Concert (12noon) of the Great Northern Brass Arts Festival which takes place at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on Saturday 13th September.
Calton Main, who will be conducted by Leigh Baker, will get the festival off to a great start with a seldom heard master-piece, Elgar Howarth’s Fireworks which will be narrated by Simone Rebello. The programme also includes Torchbearers by Eric Ball, a former conductor of Carlton Main and Momentum by Ben Hollins.
